What we do

We operate a custodial exchange: when you deposit, the asset is credited to a balance we hold on your behalf, priced against the live market. From there you can swap between any of the 19 listed assets at the posted rate, hold a position, or request a withdrawal to an external address. We don't run an order book or match your order against another user's — every swap fills instantly against the platform's own posted rate, the same way an exchange counter or a bank's FX desk would quote you a price and settle on the spot.

This is a deliberate trade-off. An order book gives you price discovery from other traders; a posted-rate exchange gives you a rate you can see before you commit and a fill you can't get slipped on. We think that trade-off suits an account meant for holding and moving value more than for high-frequency trading.

How it works

Three systems do the actual work behind the account:

• Market data. Prices track a live feed by default and refresh continuously. If we need to set a coin's price manually — during unusual volatility, or for an asset the feed doesn't cover well — that coin is flagged as exchange-set on the markets page until it's handed back to the live feed.
• The wallet ledger. Every deposit, swap, and withdrawal is a permanent entry against your account. Your Positions view works out average cost basis and unrealized P&L from that ledger the same way a brokerage statement would.
• Withdrawal review. Nothing leaves the platform automatically. A member of our team checks the request and confirms the destination before it is sent — see Security for the full process.

Custody & risk

Because this is a custodial model, your balance is a claim against the platform, not a key you hold yourself. That's a meaningful trade-off worth understanding: it buys you instant swaps and a recoverable account (no seed phrase to lose), at the cost of trusting us to safeguard and honor withdrawals. We take that trade seriously — every withdrawal is reviewed by hand precisely because an automated pipeline is the easiest thing for an attacker, or a mistake, to exploit.
